If you are wondering if you are the only one who sees a
trend in the sudden open support for gay marriage and an amnesty that makes
illegals magically legal in the federal government’s eyes; you’re in good
company. It has become amazing clear just
how desperate Obama has become to win reelection. Next – in a few months’ time – will be some
sort of Obama support of, or for, pot legalization. Perhaps nothing to actually "legalize” it per
se; but enough to, shall we say… "decriminalize” voter support.
These are now big ticket, highly politicized, impossibly
rhetorical and incredibly volatile points of voter contention – as determined
by America’s political elite; not the people.
The voter cares about these topics, but they have been lured into a
politicized stupor over what is and what is not important.
Take for example the recession and how it affects
Americans. According to the federal
government, the recession ended three years ago (and now a few days more). This means the nation has not only suffered a
persistent lack of growth under Obama, but has entered into a permanent economic
recession to allow for Obama spending habits.
Yet, voters are concerned with who marries who, how a random political figure
head can redefine "illegal” into legal and who smokes what while bringing no
harm to another. The big issues slip
through the cracks while the nation fully divides over the lesser important social
issues of our generation. Socially,
America falls behind an advancing world in several education disciplines, food
shortages abound, poverty has risen to record levels; and Americans are
consumed with gay marriage, legalizing illegal immigration and a few grams of
pot in a person’s pocket. In the meantime,
their distracted attention allows for all aspects of America to implode around
them - while they blissfully succumb to a perverse political order that
undermines all that is healthy for the American voter and American
constitutional rights.
"I call him Bliss,
because they say that’s what ignorance is.”
– Rev. Alonzo Hickman, Junteenth, by Ralph Ellison
Literally, Obama supporters applauded his support for gay
marriage; and said absolutely not one word when their coveted President signed
a law allowing him to indefinitely detain them without due process (or even
being charged) because they visited the wrong website at the wrong time. Federal courts have deemed this unconstitutional;
however, the intent of the Obama Administration is deliberately overlooked –
when it is Obama delivering the unconstitutional measure. This hypocrisy exists solely to enable a
unified political effort against the people.
Despite the fact that the response to Obama’s illegals becoming legal
has been moderate (at best), support is largely found on the Left, with resistance
firmly planted on the Right. Immigration is not the issue we have made it. Moreover, American immigration policy has
seen changes recent enough to clearly demonstrate the hypocritical nature of Democrats
and Republicans.
We failed to learn (or heed the warnings) from granting "amnesty”
to illegal immigrants. As a result of
the Reagan initiative, illegal immigration surged directly leading to the
problems of today. Obama has now done
the same for the same reason; a desperation maneuver to pander to a specific
voter base, while further distracting voter attention away from what is really
wrong in America and how our elected official REFUSE to right the course of the
nation. Hypocritically, Republicans
supported this once Right led initiative of amnesty for illegal residents. Republican dichotomy is only matched by the
Democrats’ whom have once very forcefully stood against it amnesty for illegals…
and now support it while Republicans decry the measure.
The same political hypocrisy is found in Obamacare. Republicans have firmly resisted Obamacare,
while Democrats fall neatly in-line to support it. However, Democrat voters were outraged when
the Nixon Administration attempted to force healthcare mandates upon the
people. In fact, there has been not
health care mandate until Obama because DEMOCRAT voters enforced the 9th
and 10th Amendments restricting government’s control over the
people. Again, under the Newt Gingrich
run House, Democrat voter and political elite stopped the government from
proceeding with such an unconstitutional mandate. Under the rule of "The Clinton's,” it was the
Republican voters who assured a health care mandate would not see presidential
ink. (No need to make mention of the angst current Republican voters hold for health care mandates whom have in turn
supported the likes of Mitt Romney – the architect of Romney and ObamaCare)!
The division lies not in the political ideology, but in who
is pushing a given agenda. Therefore, "unconstitutional”
only matters when it is the other side driving the initiative. How much can the Right object to Obama’s
amnesty when they have already pushed and passed the same with the support of a
voter base now crying political foul?
How can Obama Liberals say they honestly support the measure when the
bulk of mature Democrat voters have unmistakably voted against it on no less
than three occasions as the Reagan measure progressed into law? This means the modern American voter supports
a given side, not the causes and agendas their side stands for.
Another such parallel exists with gun rights versus gun
laws. Take for example, Pima County
Arizona – the state’s only viable and highly contested liberal stronghold. There, residents possess more registered
firearms than do residents of Maricopa County, Arizona, where the state dictates
and perpetuates its Republican agendas. Based
on positional support for political agendas, Pima County would possess few
registered firearms while Maricopa County would possess far more. The difference is found in rural life versus
metropolitan life in an area ravaged by violent crime stemming from illegal activities
flowing over the Arizona – Mexico border.
Because it unwise to live in these rural areas unarmed, 2D Amendment
rights are appreciated for their practicality, but voted against by Democrat
voters as they blindly follow their misleading higher political order.
Such inconsistencies are abundant in both the Right and Left
political perspectives. As voters pursue
and support their Party, their voting values become further out of tune with
their Party’s larger agenda and become mere sacrifices to their own political
order. Meanwhile, voters remain bliss to
the larger picture. Rather than
acknowledge this glaring shortcoming between the Two Party System and the
individual voter, the voter insists the other side is always wrong; even when
they – as individual voters – once supported the position they are now directed
by their Party to rebuke.
The fact of the matter is a Democrat can support gun rights
and a Republican can support gay marriage.
Unfortunately, too few of both possess the courage of individualism
within the Democrat and Republican ranks to place their voting values before
their Party allegiance.
